Ed Harris vs William Hurt

Ed Harris. Best line ever, “Welcome to the Rock”
 
Honestly I constantly confuse the two.

Enemy at the Gates, Abyss, Apollo 13. Gotta go with Ed I think, but Hurt is the Body Heat guy. Can't top that either.
 
Didn't Viggo waste both of them? And their guys?

I like Ed a little more, but not by much. Both are pretty good.

Ed Harris is more intense but they're both great actors.

Ed is intense as fuck just dancing to relax.

 
Both great actors. I'll vote for Thunderbolt Ross, but I can easily see why others would choose Harris.
 
Ed Harris; while I like William Hurt, but he's got borderline comatose performances and has no business in a discussion about "intensity".

Ed Haharis! both in History of Violence, but Ed's performance is memorable in it, while William's is forgettable.

Michael Bein matched Ed for intensity in The Rock,

"You will give that order!"

"I will not give that order!"

Also, loved the scene where Harris meets Mason(Connery)

"And I thought I'd been in the Service for a long time..."
