Really? You come into a forum and make a topic entitled "Eating" and you offer virtually no information on yourself other than you need to drop twenty pounds?

Please read the FAQ and one of the million "I need to lose XX pounds" threads...

5'10" @ 154lbs... aren't you already a skinny bastard? Get stronger and stay where you're at... at least that sounds like more fun to me.

Well, has eating whatever you wanted helped you lose weight?

You should read the FAQ. There is a weight-cutting thread linked to from the FAQ that is very informative.

When you tried "everything", what was the maximum calories you were eating? What kind of food have you been eating?

I weight 190 and cutting down to 155 would be impossible in my eyes.

    Take steroids
    Lift a lot of weight
Eat until you want to puke

If that doesn't work... reverse liposuction.

In a previous post, you said you want to do what your coach tells you. If your coach also encourages someone from your gym to cut down from 190 to 155, I wouldn't listen to that man. A 35 lbs cut is ridiculous. You are also implying that he makes that cut often, which I highly doubt. I also wouldn't listen to a coach that just tells you to cut down without telling you how to. You obviously don't have a clue how to since you didn't give any information on what you are already trying.
If you are fighting at a lower/beginners level, not as many people will cut weight and if they do, they cut improperly or not make it. The last show in this town 4 people didn't make weight. People think they should do whatever a dedicated pro that has all day to cut weight, workout, etc. does.
With all that being said, I would try to put on enough mass to get to 160 lbs then cut down to 155 lbs.
