Easiest way for GSP and Jon Jones to pass Anderson in GOAT race

GSP and Jones now have the perfect opportunity to end the chatter about where they rank in accordance to Anderson Silva. The quickest way for them to do it is move up to the next weight class and take on the guy one fight removed from the championship belt!

Basically....don't fight the champion of the next weight class up....fight the former champ.....JUST LIKE ANDERSON DID!

Anderson went up to LHW and destroyed Forrest that was one fight removed from the LHW title after losing to Rashad. Call Forrest tailor made....call him perfect style match up....call him whatever you want as long as you put former champion somewhere in there.

So, there you have it. Jones vs Dos Santos and GSP vs 39 year old coming off a broken leg Anderson in 2014.

Do you think either Jones or GSP have the warrior in them to do what Anderson was able to do? Or is Jones looking to make sure he has the reach and size advantage over the rest of his opponents since Gus exposed him for the size monster that he is.......or will GSP continue duck Hendricks and Lawler.....power punchers with size and TDD?
 
Everyone knows GSP lost to hendricks. He is no longer in this conversation.

The GOAT Jon GOAT Jones has the easiest way to be the goat. The GOAT Jon GOAT Jones was born the goat. There is no other. He was the goat, is the goat, and will always be the goat.
 
Jones is already ahead of Silva in the GOAT race. He has faced FAR stronger competition and won all but one of his fights in dominant fashion (not counting the bogus DQ loss).

Silva was beating cans, people on the way out,old men, drug addicts and what not..
Jones was "only" beating old champions and such, yeah total scrubs. LHW seems awful because Jones makes it look awful.
Bones will never be GOAT because of peoples irrational hatred for him, and how easily the stupid mass are hypnotized by Silva
 
GSP has proven that he doesn't have the stones to move up. Biggest fight ever with the biggest pay ever offered over and over again and he continued to take fights in his division. GSP is done anyway and would need like 5 finishes to surpass Anderson or Fedor all time.

Jones is young and will eventually move up and could one day surpass Fedor and Anderson.
 
Jones and GSP are really in no position right now to be talking about being GOATs considering many people thought they both lost their last fights. With that said, GSP will always have the stigma of being the guy who ducked fighting Anderson in a super fight. To me, when it's all said and done, the GOAT conversation is going to be all about Fedor, and what Jones does from here on out.

You will need to live with the fact that everyone involved in MMA believes Hendricks won and the vast, extreme majority of fans, promoters, media, fighters and coaches will forever continuously and proudly tell everyone they know that Hendricks clearly won the fight in rather dominant fashion and if you can ever find someone who disagrees they are part of a tiny irrelevant minority and shouldn't be paid attention to or trusted on anything when it comes to MMA.
 
if jon jones retires before losing his belt he'll be the GOATSEXHERDER

GSP would have fought Anderson if Anderson hadn't fucked up the Maia fight. This would have been the first announcement at the pre-fight conference.
 
How do you duck someone who is in a higher weight class than you? Total garbage. As far as Jon or GSP being goat, they both arguably lost their last fights. Look elsewhere.
