Lets discuss it. I played the demo of the first game on my roommates ps4 and wasn't very impressed. For those of you who bought and played the game what kind of improvements would you like to see from the second game? Which Fighters were absent from the games roster that you'd now like to see included?

I know people hate EA MMA but imo its the first game that got the feel kinda right. if you landed a nice combination you dropped someone, there was a lot of force behind hits. and the analog stick striking controls were cool.

undisputed felt too much simulation and EA UFC was arcade garbage where you could land 10 headkicks in a row without damage

I agree with this sentiment. I played EA MMA and to this day I think it's the best MMA video game. It wasn't perfect (no MMA game is) but with constant updates and revisions it could definitely have turned into an amazing series.

It was horrible, both EA MMA and Undisputed 3 were far superior.

You could literally roll into mount from full guard with a flick of the analogue stick.

I'd like for them to buy the THQ game engine and expand on it, but that's too much to ask for.

The glitch vids are the greatest thing on earth

That shit is SO BAD, you can rock a player and when you engage them on the ground you get in full mount. Once the rocked person recovers they calmly PUSH you out of mount and completely out of guard

Shit's hilarious

This is Sherdog. After 8 years here, most posters are either butthurt, angry or just impossible to deal with.

Some quality posters do exist here but for the most part, this place is just filled with angry people hating on everything and anything, so even if the game was the best ever, 90% of Sherdog would hate it.
This sums up the vast majority of this site. These dudes hate everything and everybody., Except for maybe Shogun.

you block any pass with right or left and block you guys hate a game cause you are trash lol

EA = dogshit, didn't even touch EA UFC game.

Only good thing that will come from this second game are the glitch videos.

To be honest, I would rather have a well made K1 or Glory Kickboxing game than an MMA game. I've never enjoyed the grappling system on any game, even on Undisputed 3 which was my favorite one of all.

EA UFC was trash when it was first released but all of the eventual updates made it a pretty decent game. It was too late though.

If they can fix most of the mechanics of the 1st EA UFC along with making the career mode 100x better, it should be pretty good.
With the patches ,free fighters and updates this game deserved a re-review. It's manageable once you learn it . Can't wait for UFC2

If they bring back pride/tournament mode, I'll consider buying it once it hits the bargain bin.

I hope it's not like the first one. In the first one everyone fights like Pettis and Jones.

Undisputed series was way better than this garbage. Totally unrealistic. Every fighter felt the same. No damage done by strikes. Ground game sucked. Career sucked. Only redeeming quality was the graphics

Lol the clothing editor will be so easy. What color Reebok shorts do you want...ok done

The game was soooo bad no fluidity to the controls at all and EVERY SINGLE TAKEDOWN WAS THE ANGLE SLAM.

Unidisputed 3 perfected the gameplay who knows how much better it could have got if Dana didnt jump ship to shitty EA.

It's not Dana's fault that THQ went out of business.

99% of the complaints are from people who gave up on the game because it wasn't perfect at launch and/or didn't take the time to fucking learn how to play. The game is fine, the mechanics are fine, half of what people are saying occurs is just plain inaccurate.

The biggest 'gripe' I can see is that some fighters have moves that they haven't used in real life. It is what it is though. Just because a dude never threw a high kick doesn't mean he can't, FOH.

This. Everyone fought WAY too similar and the roster wasn't all too great either.

^This! I still keep this game in heavy rotation .along with all the other UFC's EA MMA and Fight Nights

Man, the Reebok deal is really going to screw with the game's customization. Can't wait to make Patricio Pitbull and see him in his very own black/white or white/black shorts.

Fight Night 3 might be my favorite game boxing wise.

Fight night 5 (champion) was a treat as well. Wish more games would do a story/single player like they did and maybe make it like 12-16 hours long.

First game was great, i'm surprised how much hate it received. Best MMA game so far in my opinion. Hopefully the second title builds on that.
Good to hear positivity on this game .I bought my PS4 for this game and once learned to be good or at least competitive i wasn't disappointed. This very well could be the best one yet.

Ronda, Conor, Sage, PVZ in the cover

This. I still consider EA MMA the GOAT MMA game. You can make CAFs and have them go against the roster right away rather than the BS "have them all at Overall 70". The flash knockouts were also way too frequent in UFC 3 for my liking, you could spam overhand rights and win a match in less than a minute. Landing the overhand right was a lucky thing in EA MMA and when it hit, it was devastating.

Only problem with the Undisputed games were that the online servers were garbage. I had over 300 fights and my record got wiped clean suddenly.
