Huge if true.

Video Game Forum -------->

Their fiscal year is 05/01/17 - 04/30/18

should’ve bought their stock years ago

back in 2012 it was around 13 bucks. now it’s at 130+.

To be honest with how big the video game industry is now, i'm surprised it isn't higher.

From here it's only gonna get bigger and bigger.

5 Billion of it was from Micro transactions and DLC

shoulda got on that trend a year or two back

My ATVI (activision blizzard) and NVDA (Nvidia) stocks are uh doing well

EA's Fiscal Year is Apr-Mar. Between the Battlefield, Fifa, Madden, Fifa/Madden Ultimate Teams, Titan Fall, Galaxy of Heroes they have a pretty wide portfolio of games.

Investors were dumb back in the early 2012 and didn't realize what a moneymaker digital add on revenue was(DLC, Season Pass, MTX). I actually think we won't see any huge exponential jump in stock prices, since Analysts seem to have gotten their head out of their ass regarding the video game industry. The only way to make money off the video game industry is off Mobile. Nobody really understands the Mobile business.

And yet they tore down their forums. Bastards.

But not you right? Made your 1st million back in 2012 I'll bet.

It's all about the Fifa Lootboxes baby (among other micr payments), not like they haven't tried to implement them elsewhere.

lol, I've actually worked in the video game industry, and while I'm not a millionaire, I definitely did make a small amount of money off EA stock.

In 2012 EA had a market cap of $4-5B, yet they had over $1B in cash and a current ratio over 1. I'd call that being pretty undervalued.

How can you make $5.1B without selling a single game worth playing?

Loot boxes are very profitable, and can turn a game which may have had a person pay a set amount once to purchase the game into a continual money stream.
Not sure how companies have gotten away with what is essentially gambling and then marketing these gambling type games to minors.

nerd hipsters losers are the biggest industry, Comic book comic con SuperHero Zombie hipster shit included.
