E3 2014 Discussion

Why are we even having an E3 this year? Everyone seems happy releasing their trailers and announcements before E3...we got the Battlefield: Hardline trailer, Dead Rising 3 to pc announcement, Borderlands Pre-Sequel trailer, Dying Light trailer, The Witcher 3 trailer, and Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor trailer all this week before E3...

E3's on my birthday as well. i hope we have a good rapid flowing thread like last E3. i think we got all the way to V3 in 1 day

 

Excited for homefront which is confirmed to be shown and project beast, which will hopefully be shown

If I can find a confirmed game list, I'll post the games featured at this years E3...

 

i expect this to be the norm from this year out. All these game announcements would be lost in the shuffle amongst other announcements, so release early trailers are a way to get some press and moment to shine on their own. I'm sure they'll be surprises left for each conference.

Bethesda is either going to show a teaser for Fallout 4 or going demo for Doom 4.

I'm a glutton for punishment, so I will be interested in COD Advanced Warfare and Madden 14.

Want to see what kind of controversy the MGS trailer is going to create.

 

I'm excited. But not expecting that much. If its mostly sequels to currently released titles on PS4/X1 then I won't like it that much. None of those titles really interested me thus far.

EA has also announced 6 new projects will be at E3 2014, one of which is a Frostbite Engine-based game planned for release in Q3 of 2014.

 

What channel is E3 on this year? I see that Spike TV has a bit of coverage but they dont seem to be covering it all. I dont see Sony's press conference listed on their channel anywhere. I guess I'll have to watch Sony's on PSN or the internet.

Love me some E3. Last year wwas all about hardware this year I'm excited to see some frickin games.

Have to admit I'm curious to see Zelda even though I'm a Wii U hater.

 

So is the Sony press conference not going to be on TV again? I looked through the guide for MOnday at 9 est and see nothing. I know you can stream it online but I cant get it in full HD with my connection and would MUCH rather watch it in 1080 and on the big screen.
