Is it weird that I've actually missed the Contender Series?
 
Funny last name aside, is it true that this guy tapped to strikes in the first round of both of his professional losses? Or is a TKO (submission to punches) different? Odd way to word it.

Not trying to judge the guy, just an interesting note and possibly relevant when it comes to his future in MMA, although I’m only “sherdog fight finder” educated about him, so there’s that haha.
 
Will Contender Series take a backseat if TUF becomes a thing next year?
 
There looks to be a fair amount of terrible fighters on this show. Hopefully not many contracts, UFC prelims are now just bum fights

Dana White’s “Contender Series” will move forward with just four bouts when the action gets underway tomorrow night (Weds., Nov. 3, 2020) inside APEX facility in Las Vegas, Nevada, after UFC officials were forced to cancel the strawweight showdown between Gloria de Paula and Pauline Macias.
