    Rappler is imo, a really good news site for Filipinos, not just for politics. It is a good source for anything from entertainment news to the new tax reforms to planning a holiday in Japan, you name it.

    Make no mistake that the Duterte Administration is behind this. Not too familiar with journalism laws in the Philippines but the must've used a legal loophole to put this into motion (Rappler articles can be written by partner bloggers - not necessarily journalists).

    Well according to Duterte supporters Rappler is fake news anyway.

    But to be fair Rappler have been caught before missrepresenting data in their reports by third party fact checkers.
