Guys i wanna ask you do you think any mouthguard can be molded into your lower teeth since every mouthguard has written in the instructions that its for the upper teeth. I have REAL bad lower teeth and an upper mouthguard doesnt protect them enough.Currently i train boxing.

If I can mold any mouthguard to my lower teeth then what do you suggest I should buy I thought about brain pad 3x layer/ or one of these Venum ones if i can order from Bulgaria at Amazon but if i cant ill order a shockdoctor(or another cheap one for 5$) cuz they are also made in Bulgaria too.
For my upper teeth ill put my current 2.5$ cheap one that i have
Also i cant get a custom one cause in Bulgaria theres literally no information about them (asked my local dentist and searched in google) and i cant affoard to spare more than 80$

I have no experience with double mouth guards, you have to wait if someone else has.

But if you just do boxing and nothing else, maybe you can try a face saver head guard?

I had a SISU which is too lightweight IMO for a solo mouthguard, so I bought another one and then remolded the SISU for the lower jaw - but I almost never use it to be honest.

If I buy a 3x layer brainpad which are said to be kinda bulky would it be managable using it on the lower and another cheap for the upper in your opinion ?

I need big protection for my lower teeth cuz they are weak and busted from an accident 5 years ago

Just get this since you can get shock doctors cheap?
Ive tought about this one but i read on the reviews that the lower part isnt made to be molded into your lower teeth .. it just stays there. Not sure if it will protect them that way has anyone tried it?
last week i used my upper one and got hooked with a clenched jaw and noticed that one of my weak lower teeth moved alittle bit :/

I maybe able to help a picture of why you think your only option is a lower guard, or why an upper guard is not protecting you adequately. I maybe able to answer from a written description other than my lowers are really bad.

Well since my lower teeth were busted 5 years ago when i got sucker punched they needed to be braced to put them back in place but they never felt the same ever since.. and now a week ago i took a hook with clenched teeth during sparring with my upper mouthguard and once I got home I noticed that one of those lower teeth got moved .. i guess i hope a lower mouth guard might reduce the chance of that happening again since the upper mouthguard wasnt able to protect my tooth from getting moved..

explain busted. They were displaced, ie moved or they were broken and repaired as well as displaced? How long have the braces been off, and do you still currently wear a retainer ? if not why not?

Understand most mouthguards that incorporate the lower teeth do so to move the lower jaw forward to open the space at the condyle glenoid fossa ( jaw joint) to help protect from concussion. this is called a M.O.R.A. device. But by moving the lowers forward they also move the lowers into a position where they are more likely to receive a direct blow. To comfortably cover the lowers they use less material thickness than would be found in normal mouthguard which is needed to disperse the blow effectively.

Oh i see my english is kinda bad and i wasnt able to explain myself precisely. So they were displaced, one even went behind my tongue (before i went to the specialist to fix me up i thought i lost a tooth) .. got braces for like 1 or 3 months i dont remember but its 1 or 3 months for sure and i wore a bandage around my head aswell because i had a jaw unalignment too (i got sucker punched multiple times while speaking with a wide open mouth.. spat a couple buckets of blood before going to the specialist) on the scan picture (which im still looking where i put) below those lower teeth on my chin there was shown a crack (i havent went to get another scan since that time... my Local dentist told me it should be fine after checking me a month ago to advise me if i can box). I dont wear a retainer simply because nobody has told me to do so i just did what the specialist told me.. Franky im clueless about its purpose .So 5 years since braces have been off. That is all i remember from that accident i was a silly kid and I was really shocked at the time and didnt care to remember all the details..I might have to ask if my specialist hopefully remembers me from 5 yrs ago and can tell me more of what issues i had if this wasnt enough, but i assume he probably does not, unless he keeps some kind of records on his patients maybe.

Now i wonder what is best

1 - custom one duals/double/a single if i can afford it and also arrange to happen (so far nothing in Bulgaria. It is possible that there just isnt a dentist that can do a custom mouthguard at all in my country)

2 - double one boil n bite. Maybe a brain pad cuz ppl say they have extra layers for protection ?
Brain-Pad LoPro+ Double Laminated Strap/Strapless Combo in one Mouthguard

3 - dual boil n bite (maybe a SISU on the below cuz they talk about how thin and comfortable these mouthguards are + my current 2.5$ for those upper teeth that i currently use or a new one with a better brand if u suggest its better my coach told me that brand mouthguards dont protect more than the cheapest ones but i kinda feel like he might be wrong about that after seeing those 3x layer brain pads exist)

I see pro boxer Antonio Margarita uses two separate ones but i guess they are probably not cheap boil n bites.

I would think your bone should have healed thoroughly by now and that any blow to the lower would be no different to an uninjured lower. The issue is likely more psychological the physical. I would just get the thinnest mouthguard you can get and trim it short of your molars on the lower and trim it well behind the lower front teeth. Wear a normal upper guard. Heat and fit the lower like you would a normal upper. We make what you would like to have, for wrestler with lower braces, but with international shipping the purchase would be cost prohibitive. You could also look at normal dual arch mouthguards.

Ok.I found this one https://www.shockdoctor.com/gravity2-lower-mouthguard which is sold also in Bulgaria it is special for the lower teeth it looks reaaly thin but it says that its Designed for helmet and face mask use only excluding combat sports.
If not ill look for a special one for combat sports that is thin and trim it/or dual arch from amazon.com because they have items with free international shipping to Bulgaria.
And thanks for your effort youve been really helpful.

the gravity instructions are for someone who will be wearing only the lower guard so being used with an upper guard you should be fine. just make sure you remove any part of the guard covering your molars as it will open your mouth in the front. To much material covering both the upper and lower molars will create a larger opening in the front of your mouth.
