Drug Testing In UFC Compared To Other Promotions

You'd have to be a moron to think that that PRIDE doesn;t exist anymore because they didn't drug test their athletes. This will probably come as a shock to you but PRIDE went under because they lost their TV deal because of Yakuza involvement. TV rules. There isn;t a promotion in the world that could surpass The UFC the way PRIDE did without a TV deal. There's your answer except mine has facts to back it up whereas yours is just hogwash.

I never said their downfall was due to PED testing.

Then what did you say led to PRIDE's downfall in this thread titled "Drug Testing In UFC Compared To Other Promotions"?

Its the difference between a forward thinking company and a company that only thinks one card in advance.

International MMA Federation today put in their application to sportaccord to be recognised. the next step in gaining olympic recognition. UFC cleaning itself up, bringing in USADa, its all about the future.

Pride only ever thought 1 card ahead. Thats why they are here anymore. Had no long term strategy.

its all related

Gaining Olympic recognition? However do you suppose football and baseball ever made it big without Olympic recognition? Of course Greco-Roman wrestling did gain Olympic recognition and you can see how that sport is just lighting the world on fire as a result.

Can't forget about trampoline jumping, now that it's an Olympic sport regulated by strict drug testing, it's a real ratings monster.

ITT: A lot of people who think drug testing is free.
