I was just recently training at a gym that teaches wrestling and loved it.

I would like to train wrestling, simply to have a better perspective.

Has anyone ever got permission from High school wrestling coaches to train with them? (I'm 23, so.. I wouldn't be terribly out of place just yet)

Do you think this would be something allowed normally? I train BJJ regularly and have recently added Judo into the mix but I feel an empty space in my heart without wrestling.

I had a high schooler invite me to train with his wrestling team once, but I haven't seen him in a while and I'm wondering if that's been done by others or not.

There probably is colleges offering it, but i'd probably have to be a student. I guess i'll just have to take up the wrestling classes when i'm in areas that offer wrestling.

15 years ago probably not a huge deal, we had guest coaches all the time. Now with everyone sue happy, I'd imagine there are liability issues and background checks needed when working with minors as part if a school athletic activity.

I did once, but I was working at the HS. I think I agree with Thrawn 33. Administration will probably say no. Now, if you somehow could go in as a "grappling instructor," maybe. Private school would also probably be easier.

Check for a local wrestling school or university/juco open wrestling practice.

Believe it or not, but most high schools have an issue with letting strangers use their facilities to roll around on the ground with sweaty 14 year old boys.

Even 15 years ago, the guests were all known by the head coach or were alumni, not random drop ins.

Definitely no with all those school shootings.

Also, I like where this thread is going.

"Y hello, thar. I'm a full grown mang and would like to roll around with some young boys. When does practice start?"

They'd probably call the police immediately.

most high schools have a club team were there guys practice over the summer and out of season that would be more likely to accept you in. Just go easy because think about the repercussions of hurting some 15 year old.

If you live in an area where wrestling is popular you should be able to find a private wrestling academy.

Aside from it being banned, I think you would be surprised at how easily many of these "little boys" could fucking destroy 99.9% of adult males out there. There is no doubt in my mind, half the kids on my wrestling team would stomp a hole in every single male teacher, security guard, or administrator on campus. Absolutely zero doubt my 103lber would run through every male on campus.

lol. What percentage of F12ers would they smash? Just out of curiosity.
