I need something slow, heavy, full of high gain, interestingly repetitive riffs and vocals that are not SUPER clean. Electric Wizard's Dopethrone and Supercoven as examples. Psychedelic but more metal than rock.

The "Pick my Brain" and "JD" are
the female. "Capillary River" is the
guy singer. Do you like the female
most out of the two?

My absolute favorite from them:



It's definitely music that grows on and
in you. It was always a little too
sophisticated and complex for my tastes
when I was younger. I found them on a
Matador Records compilation I bought
when I was still in high school. I mostly
bought it for bands like Yo La Tengo,
Pavement, etc... this Bardo Pond was the
clear outlier. I didn't understand it.
Of course until I started experimenting a bit

Glad you like it. Your description when I
first read it, immediately enticed thoughts
of Bardo's guitarist letting his musical
inhibitions go free in the heights of cosmic
droneness.. I think you'll love "Be a Fish"
