Drills/Exercises for lower body control

    I'm a bigger guy at 6' 200. Been training for about 9 months. Lately I've noticed in my grappling that leg placement and executionfor high guard- type submissions has been weak. I realize that the best thing for this is just to re-drill 1000s of armbars and triangles, but finding a willing partner isn't always the easiest, plus its an issue more in the dynamic application.

    Does anyone have any good exercises and drills to improve on this. I'm as much looking for exercises and drill I can do on my own that will help me get more comfortable and precise in my leg movement.

    Close to the sea...
    try sit in a guard position on a ball, and balance yourself.
