He said, he has a fight scheduled and an opponent. He is no diva at all. He shows up to fight whoever UFC decides.

Why would he be fighting so soon while everyone else sits around. Alex kept fighting now everyone is convinced he always sucked. Zero reward for fighting all the time other then the check you are getting either way during the fight

If the #5 ranked guy doesn't fight the roster can still bypass them without much problem. If the champ doesn't fight it creates a log jam when guys don't want to fight below their rank and insist on waiting for the title fight. Everyone's gunning for a chance to fight for the title. I think the champs should have to fight even more often if anything because they have the most responsibility in the division.

And the evidence is that Chael Sonnen is talking about Gane vs Aspinall too. Chael says what the UFC wants him to say. If he starts pushing a fight, it's because the UFC wants it to happen. Dana is trying to publicly pressure Aspinall to fight Gane to save his PPV events that have no headliner.

And if I'm Aspinall, I'm saying "my next fight is for the undisputed title." I'm sure Aspinall would fight Gane, but the UFC have to strip Jon Jones to make that happen.

Something weird like this is going on. This stupid news cycle keeps going back and forth, I just want a fight because this is stupid.

the heard it from Chael who bullshits a lot, then they ran with it and spread it like wildfire to fuel their emotional teenage angst towards the UFC, Dricus & Khamzat.
 
For his sake and the sake of the fans and ufc, I am glad he doesn't have a fractured shin. In my opinion thats a you won't be the same when you come back type injury.
 
To me, it sounds like Dricus wanted to fight on a certain date/event and Khamzat was either not ready or refused so they moved on to another opponent. At least, that is how I am reading the part about "I am the champion".
 
All this rumors is thanks to Caio.. Dude we know you want to fight for the title but goddamn it you spread misinformation like hot fire thru out the intermet and news travels fast when you attach Khamzat´s name to it.

The UFC should push Caio one step further down the line for this there has to be some consequences for him.. He started to fuking campaign for a fight going to all MMA news platforms in circle WTF dude and I know you desparate but this is too much my mann.. Be patient your time will come

He's pretty damn active as far as UFC Champs go. He'll fight anyone and doesn't take long between fights, what more do you want?

Or that UFC is in a great need of champs to headline the PPVs this summer and tried to rush him for a date in June, seems a bit more likely.
