Don't sleep on Siver in this fight.

Is everyone completely brainwashed?

But people seem to be forgetting some things. Siver has been doing this at a pretty high level for a long time.

Apparently you're the one who's brainwashed. You're exhibiting some sort of time bias where you think that because "Siver has been doing this at a pretty high level for a long time." that his skill is somewhat proportional to that.

Nobody is forgetting that Siver is a veteran. People just know Conor has more skills. And I'm willing to bet that despite Siver being in the game for a longer length of time, Conor has actually spent more of his time training and developing.

Just like Conor said, he's been putting everything into his training and developing while Siver has been putting everything into his left ass cheek.

So who's really been doing this longer if you just include time in the gym? My guess, Conor.

None. I really only occasionally do small bets with my friends, and always straight bets with no line. To top it off, I have a bad record in those bets. I won't lie.

That said, I've been watching long enough to see a few guys come and go. McGregor is very good, but he's young. What chance would anyone give Guida against Pettis, even now? He's already done it once.

I'm not saying it's gonna happen, but it could. It wouldn't even be the most shocking thing I've seen by a longshot.

So much depends on gameplan and their respective mindsets coming into fight night.

Fair enough, the line is truly insane in this one though. I wouldn't bet on McGregor and I'm 95 per cent sure he's gonna win.

Siver is actually pretty solid. No one seems to remember that when he dropped to 145 he got off to a really nice start and was even being talked about as a potential title contender until he ran into Cub who was on a tear at the time. He's has some nice wins at lightweight against middling competition, when he whooped G-sot, George was on the best winning steak in the division and was only fighting siver to stay busy, that was actually siver stepping up I spoil the party.
All of that said.. Connor is legit and a beautiful stand up fighter who has shown some sound grappling in brief exchanges with Diego but moreso in his fight with holloway. Holloway is a damn good grappler with solid takedown defense, (see him handily sprawl and brawl against Bermudez for two rounds) and Conor made out grappling him look easy with a freshly damaged knee. Siver goes down before the 2nd bell.

It could go like Guillard or perhaps Siver now has a strategy for superior speed.

Siver has to force takedowns to make a fight out of it

Dude. Siver is going to get laid out in the 1st 2 minutes. No doubt about it. Sleep on him. It's the right thing to do.

The chances of Siver winning are very slim. He is primarily a striker and a mediocre one at that. Hand picked as a showcase fight for McGregor.

Yeah, this is like a Saturday morning WWF match in the 1980's. It isn't quite a Rashad vs. Sean Salmon, but Siver is getting old, Connor looks 20 years younger than him.

I'm with the TS on this one except that I think Siver has even more of a shot than he seems to think. Siver is a very good all-around fighter who is durable with good cardio. He also has proven himself time and time again. Not only that, but Siver would probably win every fight that Conor has won so far.

Conor may deserve to be a favorite, but -250 max. I'm making sure to get some money into my sportsbook account today so I can get a bet in on Siver. Not a big bet, but a bet nonetheless. His chances to win this fight are very real against a young fighter who has never beaten anyone in the top 10 and whose ground game is still very much a question mark.
