yes he lost to uriah and koch but he went on a HUGE winning streak until 2014 when he vanished. he already beat TJ and caraway which looks like a great win now. idk what he has left but if hes 100% healthy he is going to be a title contender. Really good fighter.

I fell asleep waiting for him to fight again

I thought his last win over Caraway was really lackluster but he has been getting it done, no doubt. His grappling and counterstriking could still pose some problems for TJ even though I scored the first fight against him. Ring rust is a thing though and he has only fought twice in the time that TJ has won a championship, defended twice, and lost his belt all while fighting P4P talent (except Soto.)

So true. :(

I'm excited to see him fight again.

Me too, he's had a shitty string of luck. He was actually booked to fight Barao but injuries fucked him over. He's a helluva fighter but his health is his toughest opponent.

When @Sgt Smith follows you

I'm having a difficult time remembering his last fight tbh

First fight was really close but I think TJ edged it, and since then TJ has got better with Assunciao has been injured not training much.

Will be interesting to see how he does in the USADA era. So far not so well as he can't even make it into the cage.

He is very talented for sure, but I don't know how all these injuries and long lay offs will effect him. Also I think Tj beat him to be fair, that was one of those good ole in Brazil fashioned decisions. Tj certainly landed more strikes.

The Dillashaw he beat was the Faber imitator, not the one on the Bang Ludwig peanut butter.

Assuncao stopped by my gym a couple weeks ago. He's getting some great striking practice with a some good dudes.
