You will pay to watch the fight that you don't think will happen, and you're disappointed by this?
And it has no reason to. Why get ripped off by the Ufc, potentially lose against both of them, along with losing leverage for a Pacquiao fight. If I were him Id fight Pacquiao, vacate the belt, and then get a title shot (they'll grant it to him, of course).
Sounds like the strategizing of someone who knows he's going to lose and is trying to cash out as much as possible before it happens.
But, you are correct.
Well, from a business standpoint, it'd be smart to assume the worst. Perhaps Mcgregor doesn't think like that but It would be the smartest route. As a fan, Id like to see him fight in MMA without regards to the most financial revenue route but it is what it is money rules the world.
I'd like to see those fights but the UFC rip fighters off man. I can see why he wants to continue to boxing although the right thing is to defend. If there was an Ali act in MMA things would be much better. The brass/promoter should never get no more than 30% of the fighters pay imo. Like, GSP got paid 2.5 mill for beating Bisping as disclosed by the comission yet we all know he produces way more than that for the owners. So I think Conor is realistic. Theres a difference in his behavior when he wants to fight and when he doesn't. He doesn't seem interested in fighting anymore (and rightfully so, he is rich) but my point is he has fans excited just because he posted a few pictures of him training on social media. Thats the point that it has gotten to. When the fight between him and Eddie was being originally schedule he hopped right on. The thought of fighting the champ with a high chance of Koing him through slick counter punching he signed the contract quick as hell, got a press conference and some media done, and boom. Now, it seems like he's just not interested now that his even more rich. And I think theres a high chance he can ko Tony but he just doesn't seem to have the heart for it anymore unless its a ton of money but lets be honest we would all fight Francis Ngannou for 100 mill.If he's as confident about his skills as he says he is then he should just fight Tony, Pacman and Khabib. He'd make a ton of money for all of them if he keeps winning.
But its starting to look like he doesn't think he can keep winning so now he's trying to find the way to make the most out of losing.
