weird if true, i know for a fact that UFC forced Sakara to drop to MW and when he wasn't able to do that anymore he was cut for this reason.

I hate the idea that weight classes are definitive. Ie let's never make interesting fights between weight classes because fighter A is 10 lbs heavier than fighter B. Nate Diaz vs Robbie Lawler would be amazing but they aren't in the same weight class. Gus vs many HWs etc. Just make fights that fans want.

The only fighter I have ever seen Dana act like a legit fanboy around.

And he is right you know. Saku could have ruled ww in the ufc for years. He beat Newton, he would rape Miletich and I'd take him over Hughes any day of the week.

that's not what the UFC is about. the UFC is a business, and their job is to make the fans want to see the fights they put on, not put on the fights the fans want to see.
