It's entertainment before anything though. In boxing for example for decades great fighters and even world champions don't get touched by big time promoters because they can't sell them. It ain't new.

Vitor got blown out by jacare and hasnt won a fight off of trt, Mousassi is very inconsistent, machida is on suspension, Brunson is unproven still, Anderson has a legit claim to the fight, Kennedy has not fought since 2013, Whittaker and Hall could have been good choices imo but they arent needle movers yet and leites just had two of the most boring fights ever one being against Bisping not too long ago. Im honestly perfectly fine with Hendo getting a title shot.
