Does anyone not find it odd that in all of the madness that went down yesterday with UFC 200 and Conor that no one ever mentioned anything about the Aldo/Frankie fight?
Conor is the current champion at 145 and has 'retired' out of the blue and when Dana went on Sportscenter all he said was they were pulling him from the card, so if Conor is 'retired' and Conor was pulled off UFC 200 don't you think they would have discussed what might happen with his championship?
Well that never got brought up and the reason why it never got brought up is because Conor isn't 'retired' and Conor simply doesn't wanna fight Nate, Conor found out first hand that after years of shouting 'Tees featherweights they all hit like flyweights!' and how he was gonna rest his balls on their foreheads that when Conor is the smaller man and when Conor gets hit by Lightweights it's he who can't take the punches. Conor never wanted to rematch Nate, remember the post fight presser? He damn near had a panic attack(well, another one considering he turned into a panic wrestler during the fight) when Nate showed up, this is all a ploy by the UFC and Conor so Conor can get himself back down to 145. He bulked up for the RDA fight and made this miraculous jump from 145 to fighting at 170 like it was natural and he was supposed to fight Nate again at 170 but Conor's smart and Conor knows a loss to Nate and a loss to Frankie will kill his marketability, he couldn't have thrown his typical barrage at insults at Nate because Nate already choked him out on 11 days notice.
So people, don't be foolish...the UFC isn't going to harm their biggest card of the year by taking their biggest star off because he 'didn't wanna do a press conference' remember when Nick Diaz got pulled from the GSP fight he was still on UFC 137 fighting BJ Penn in the co-main which got bumped to the main event after GSP got hurt. The removal is to help Conor save face so he doesn't 'pull out' and help him get his weight back down so he can make 145 and save whatever is left of his career.
