lol can this guy be any more insecure?

Right. We'd be at war with North Korea, we'd be at war with Russia, etc.

Crazy. He's the guy who stirred up shit with them to begin with. Wants credit for partially cleaning up his own mess.

If it wasn't for his Space Corp idea we'd probably be at war with Uranus as well .

We've been at "war" with NK since the early 50's, WTF are you talking about? How is it even "his" mess?
You mean he went high / they start low and they reached a middle ground, like lots of deals are negotiated?
Ratcheting up the heat on lil Haircut was the equivalent of starting with a ridiculous high number and negotiating it down. And it worked in at least getting a meeting.
What happens next, we will have to wait and see.

The situation had been stable for a long time. Trump made it worse, and then gave in and accepted the meeting with Kim, and now is claiming to have fixed the spike in tensions that he caused. This is not complicated.

No, the media made it seem worse. That's what they do, and suckers lap it up.
The situation had not been stable for a long time. Nuclear tests and ICBM testing while constantly threatening total war is stable?
Do you not understand how hardball negotiating tactics work?
Trump got Un to the table, and they at least took steps toward ending hostilities. How is that "making it worse"?
Not complicated, indeed.

1. You can't be backing Trump and then criticizing someone else's haircut. It just doesn't work when your guy has been the gold standard of bad haircuts for over 20 years.
2. Trump pushed us closer to actual conflict with NK then we had been in decades. He doesn't get credit for then backing down from his own saber rattling. That's like giving a parent with munchausen syndrome by proxy credit because they stop poisoning their kids.
3. He may have been able to actually earn credit in this situation if the resulting meeting had been anything but a clear smoke and mirrors show. He got nothing from this meeting, and yet claims "mission accomplished".

Exxacerbating a crisis so you can solve it and look like the hero, but then not actually doing anything to solve it isn't good leadership; it's the villain's plan from the first Incredibles movie for fucks sake.

I've a already covered this, not going to bother doing it again.
Actually, he does get credit for this, it just stings your ass is all that your orange boogeyman is making progress.

While his statement that we would be at war may be unfalsifiable and in all likelihood incorrect, the way the media and people in general reacted to his meeting with nk does give credence to his general sentiment.

Uh, the president of the U.S. was throwing out childish insults at Kim, and he was responding with clear threats. The media didn't make that up.

Fewer than now. Yes, it was stable. Not good, but not getting worse, not on the brink of disaster. Stable.

Do you not understand how hardball negotiating tactics work?

Kim and his predecessors have wanted to go to the table directly with American presidents for a while. The difference is simply giving in and meeting with him rather than asking for anything first. You can like the strategy or not, but you totally misunderstand if you think it required anything to bring him to the table other than saying yes. They took steps toward ending the spike in hostilities that Trump caused with his stupid and childish behavior.

ITT Jack explains how the situation in NK had been stable for years.

Flattered that you've taken to ankle-biting me after your white-knighting flopped in an unrelated thread.

Keep liking my posts. Also, you have a class to teach about NK and how stable it was, don't worry about me. Props to you though, at least you will reply to people and don't put others on ignore, I'll give you that much.
