What's with all the beer drinking and weak liver talk!?

Doesn't he wanna be champ? I bet he could be if he quit the drinking for a while.

Even worse is Joe Schilling smoking a pack a day. But that's a thread for another day...

What people don't talk about is the liver shots he has taken. He's been hurt to the liver what? Twice against Pettis and RDA?

Barboza switched kicked him clean and he took that. Martins kick the shit out of his gut and he took that. Diaz punched him to the body and that was no issue.

Those strikes would kill all of sherdog

Cowboy has the talent to be an elite fighter while at the same time getting wasted nearly every day. His performance against Cote was arguably the best of his career and he was 176 before the weight cut. The man likes the cold beer, its his gimmick.

It's a very counter productive gimmick.

    Like Jones' cocaine gimmick...

Why are you saying Donald has cirrhosis? It's a largely irreversible medical condition.

Unless I missed a medical disclosure, he means likely that that chit hurts and it's an Achilles' heel of his. Life's short; cowboys gonna cowboy.

I'd say that RDA and Pettis are just better fighters when he fought them, I doubt that quitting drinking would have given him any advantage. DC reacts horribly to body shots but he doesn't drink much.

Meh, he's a pro. I doubt him drinking beer has an effect on his career.

You're kidding right (probably not unfortunately).

    It's a play of words. Cerrone-Cirrhosis?

Alcoholic liver cirrhosis is the most common form of liver disease that’s related to drinking alcohol...

This sounded like lyrics from a rap Rogan and Schaub made for an anti-smoking PSA.

Beer is just.... well it's just the tops. It's the cats pajamas. The stuff dreams are made of and often directly induced by. I wouldn't quit it. I'd live with it like a naggy wife who'll always have a 20yo's tits and ass.

That's great - but you won't become UFC champ at the same time.

Beer is not going to hurt his liver. If he drank hard alcohol daily, then sure. but beer doesn't have all that much alcohol in it..

Oj, not the homophone it was in your head, I'm afraid.

    Sorry I missed it...

    <6>

Fresh out of medical school and already making breakthroughs, I see. Again and rhetorically, where was the disclosure from him or his camp? Your wordplay was so bad that my first thought before ticking on your thread went along these lines.

José and I are clearly not impressed.

too many cowboy movies for donald. he's pretty much jon travolta off the movie "urban cowboy". didnt he grow up in a suburb of denver? real cowboys dont have time for kickboxing practice. he's taken his character too far and its affecting his tolerance of body shots.

He drinks Budweiser. You'd need to inject that directly into the liver by the gallon with a huge syringe to cause any damage.

You have to take all the craziness as a package deal though. Perhaps he drinks too much. He also volunteers to fight on very short notice and fights more often than any other fighter in the UFC. Those two sides of him probably are interrelated, and it would be naive to think you could eliminate one without the other.
