Damn. Good thing Cowboy wasn't talking shit to a Sherdogger. Anyone of us would have knocked his ass out.

<{JustBleed}>

Why is he getting so triggered by some nobodies ?
Why not?
Responding to random strangers is what forums are all about - being sherdoggers we should recognise that even pro athletes get the urge to jump into those kinds of debates sometimes.

Boxing is similar and high level boxers get heavily criticized even in victory. Look at Joshua vs Ruiz 2. Joshua won clearly but was criticized for taking the easy way out. You dont see the same kinda media for MMA. You cant compare MMA media to other sports media because MMA media is dog shit.

Joshua was mostly criticized by fans, just like in MMA fighters who play it safe are criticized by fans.

I don't think he performed well at all but mainly because McGregor was just doing correct things from the get go (aside from throwing first punch xD).
Yeah but that first punch missed terribly. People dont want to call it throw, don't want to say Donald is washed up, dont want to say donald quit. It seems the only narrative that sherdog accepts,is that Conor is amazing and made donald look terrible

It was criticized by the media heavily as well. Some people consider throwing one strike in 40 seconds of action playing it safe, but yeah let's take it easy on him

Donald has literally said "I will fuck a man on live TV for a million dollars."

No joke, that is an actual Cerrone quote.

So imagine what he's willing to do for more than a million.

So yeah, Donald, losing a fight is a lot less embarrassing than being a straight man fucking another man on live TV for money.

There really is no question about that, tbh... So yes, yes we all do believe you would throw a fight.

The reason Joshua vs Ruiz 2 type of fight gets criticized is because people view it as boring. You can't compare that to a fight that lasts 40 seconds ending a KO. Conor vs Cerrone was short, but entertaining. I'm sure if Conor someday has a Silva vs Maia type of performance against someone he will get criticized just like Joshua was. There is zero difference whether its MMA or boxing, high profile fights that end up being boring always gets criticized because so many people get disappointed. Doesn't matter if its MMA or boxing.

Either way, Cowboy's performance is the worst I have ever seen in the UFC.
Well you're new so obviously you haven't seen much....
Worst performance in the UFC? Probably Kalib Starnes vs Nate Quarry.

Forrest Griffin vs Anderson Silva
Jose Aldo vs Conor
Askren vs Masvidal

There have been dozens.
All those guys got blasted by good shots. Forrest's didn't look devastating, but when you hear he was KO'd in camp, and then ran into the fist you can understand it.
Guys get caught with big shots. Can happen early, can happen late.

He's a moron for engaging with that kind of comments, you'd think a professional fighter would have thicker skin.
