Reyes has reminded me of someone, but I couldn't put my finger on it until recently rewatching Sanders vs Vitali Klitschko. For those that don't know Sanders beat Wladimir Klitschko in a famous upset and then fought his brother afterwards in a good scrap that he lost.

but look at the way Sanders punches. Reyes has a bit of that doesn't he? Sniperish. Obviously Sanders had the bigger power. But more the way they throw shots.

Sanders was a highly underrated HW, he beat Wald in his prime and nearly beat Vitali in his prime.

Rey's doesn't have the nearly the same handspeed or power as Sanders did.

the trajectory of their punches is similar. It's hard to describe but almost like a long sniper shot. Obviously Sanders was better.

but more the way the punches are coming

Yes he does throw a similar sniper like shot with his left hand. Reyes definitely has great hand speed and power. Hope he can deck JJ with one of those shots and finish him off.

Wlad showed up to that fight hung over and unprepared. Much like Jones will; the difference is, Jones will beat Reyes

    Hmmm....indeed. Nice catch.
I'm praying that he catches Jones, stuns him, and instead of panicking or rushing in and getting entangled, just squares-up and drops him with one more well-aimed/timed shot.
Yeah right, but I wouldn't be amazed.

Good observation. I see the similarities as well.

I hope to god that Reyes somehow lands one of those giving Juice Jones a CTE causing nokautche.

Really? So why didn't he rematch him then? I'll tell you why, he didn't think he could win it. Wlad hadn't perefect his jab and grab then grab and grab style yet so it would been the same result. Sanders showed up fat and out of shape against vitali as a full time golfer part time boxer. Wlad was in great shape but a 6"4 lefty with deceptively quick hands was all wrong for him.

INB4 Reyes gets merked like a lamb after tagging Jones in the 2nd.

    This 100%

Come next weekend, untrained Jones coming off of a 3 day coke binge will make Reyes look like a child.
