I really dont see people mentioning the Dominator as the GOAT when in reality he might just be ladies and gentlemen.

He is a pioneer of stricking. Creating momemtum as he switches stances to create striking angles that no1 can prepare for.

A footwork that to this day the best weve never seen in MMA, and no1 can even replicate it because no1 has the will and stamina of cruz. The best L-step ever.

Not only does he have the best footwork the MMA has ever seen, he also has one of the best head movements EVER. Which is something that many fighters with good footwork lack.

He is, the lomachenko and Ali of MMA. The underated .

Cruz beat Mighty Mouse and TJ Dillashaw, TJ who copied him to become "one of the best strikers in UFC".

Cody got lucky Cruz was going downhill... Because although Cody has great head movement, his footwork isvsooo stiff, Cruz wouldve danced all over him.

Cruz the lighter weight GOAT.

Refer to the 2nd fight against Faber when he was priming. Absolute monster, a blur

i have him 6 after aldo, top 5 if you take out andy and jones for PEDS

Gifted a decision against TJ.

TJ already has a better resume than Cruz.

TJ is one of the most underrated fighters in the UFC.

This. Absolutely. I mean, maybe we disagree on the top 3, but I got

1. Georges St-Pierre
2. Fedor Emelianenko
3. Demetrious Johnson
4. José Aldo
5. Dominick Cruz

And I'm trying my best to be objective here. If it was for me, I'd sure as hell throw Michael Bisping in there somewhere. lol.

Pioneer of striking with little to no power. Guy has 22 wins, but more than half by decision.

Footwork that's only really effective at being evasive, but lacks fluidity and fails to develop positions for him in which to punish the opponent in any real significant manner.

Injury prone.

He's done very well, and yes, he's obviously a top fighter in his division. But the underrated GOAT he is not. Lomackenko and Ali of MMA? LOL GTFO.

I have Miocic at 5th, all else is spot on.

Lol- he'll no.He lost to T.J and should've NEVER had that belt wrapped around his waist and he was the challenger in a close fight but t.j had the more impactful blows while Dom did his dancing .
Cruz did beat MM but what was that 7-8 years ago.
GOAT- not even close.
A solid fighter- yes but at a weight class where great fighters were not facilitated yet...... still a weight class where great talent is at a minimum

Easy to refer to the Cody's fight buddy, when he was already on his way down after several injuries derailed his career.

His leg and head movement is far from useless!!!

Ill give you that, he packs no real power, however, he would make oppoenents look stupid and he made them miss nearly every single punch they threw and rocked them with 3 back to back punches every 5 secs.

If you look at his prime, hes up there as somebody who looks unbeatable along with Jones, Silva, and Fedor. 2 of those who got caught juicing. He looked more dominant than Aldo and GSP in his prime

def not gsp level dominance but he was on aldos level for sure. remember gsp won 30 straight rounds over the course of 6-8 fights or however many it was.

TJ kicked his ass. Fun in the wec, then just wasn't able to fight consistent

Is THE GOAT in his division, Figthmetric says he won against TJ and Cody

Sucks he's lost so much time to injury.

I'd have Fedor at number 1 to be honest , but that's just my subjective opinion , the man was undefeated for a decade in a division full of giants where he was in all respects undersized.
