i felt the same energy the night Ruiz beat AJ, it’s going to be a trilogy fight a la Cain vs junior

I would love for Reyes to win.

Not because I like Reyes or hate Jones - just because I think that division is due for a shake-up, and Jones needs some adversity to overcome to make him more compelling

Since he made his debut I've been hyped on Reyes and always felt he can do it against Jones on the feet

The X Factor is if Jones wants to remember how good his wrestling is and has a grappling heavy gameplan tonight

if you arent taking a mortgage out on your house, digging the lose change out of your cars ashtray and going all-in on jones then you are straight up losing money.

if you think Reyes has a chance then you havent been watching mma for that long. jones is on steroids. did you see him at the weighins dude?

I dont care if you have to put up a 1000 dollars to win 50 bucks. Its an immortal lock.

I'll be rooting for Reyes. After this Jones can finally move up to HW and fight Stipe either way.

Don’t act like you truly believe that...

That’s what’s irritating to me about these threads. It’s just being different for the sake of being different and getting attention. If you’re wrong nobody will care enough to remember, but if you get lucky and predict a crazy upset you can claim to be some kind of genius.

Side note: Remember that guy that said he would put his house on Jones losing to Anthony Smith?

    Jones vs Adesanya
    Stipe vs Cormier 3

then if all goes according to plan
    Jones vs Cormier 3

Hope Jones breaks his fucking skull and you eat crow! xD

I hope its a good fight though. Reyes has some huge neck/shoulder muscles, abnormally big. So he may win if he can pull a conrad mcgoober shoulder move out his ass, Otherwise i see him as another green wannabe. Jones will dismantle him and crush his dreams. As well as his eyes and knees.

AJ was always overhyped by the Brits. Nowhere near the level JJ is in his craft

Either way history is made tonight. A new light heavyweight champion will be crowned or Jon Jones surpasses GSP for most championship defences thus overtaking Georges' as the greatest mixed martial artist of all time.

Well, the length of time is irrelevant, but I admit that what I said doesn’t necessarily apply to you. It’s quite possible that you have a well thought out and genuine opinion, but I think majority of these crazy upset predictions are from the kind of people I was talking about.

It would be great to see but I give Reyes about 15 percent chance.

Jones isn't capable of breaking anyone's skull. He has no power despite being juiced to the gills.

I think the only way he moves up is after he loses he's not going to risk losing his undefeated record (I know he has a loss but most people don't count it) by fighting at HW.

he doesn't have power in his punches but his elbows are pretty hard and he did KO DC with a kick.

He had enough power to kick DCs head into the third row

that's true, I don't know about TS but a lot of people predict big upsets all the time and then when one happens act like they really saw it coming.
