Dom Cruz is making the suggestion that perhaps that Dern failed her weigh in on purpose. Considering her expertise is grappling and she needs the much needed TD to implement her BJJ game.

TWood also says she should be forfeit any WIN bonus

It's becoming more commonplace with the lack of punishment. We need to increase the severity of missing weight, especially by such a large amount. Not only does she have a weight advantage she also doesn't struggle with cutting weight while her opponent does, this is unacceptable behavior for an athlete. It's clear she had no intention of trying to make weight, I've lost respect in her

That Mackenzie dern is one piece of ace

I know from experience dude

Agreed. I'm in actual agreement with you and Dom Cruz, it's pretty apparent she made NO effort in making weight.

This kind of Bush league bullshit needs to be dealt with. Greater penalties and consequences for missing weight and especially for that much a weight difference.

I'm going to have to agree. I mean OVER SEVEN POUNDS?

i think she just isn't all there

probably read the scales wrong

she should be cut if she loses
if she wins, force her up to 145.

I'm good with the "no win bonus" and of course no "of the night" bonuses which they already do. If it becomes a constant, force them to change divisions or cut them.

...and she'll rehydrate and become even fatter. Totally not fair

Amanda's gonna be dealing with like the moon on top of her

Maybe she was sick and gave up because the cut was too painful?

It's hard to believe that she would be willing to get that much criticism from the whole UFC brass and millions of fans just to get a weight advantage over her opponent in some random match-up that isn't even for a title.

Cruz calling it a intelligent game plan is really the hottest take he could go with. Cruz really fals into the trap of wanting to say something smart all the time, but ending up saying dumb stuff like this.

Why do you think that theory is dumb?

Are numbers different in Portuguese as compared to English?

Agree tough, it would be pretty weak of the UFC to let her continue to fight at 115, although I'd put her in 125 first.

Stop it. She's been babied enough.

I thought she did it to get more attention for doing it again. She already knew ABC would still take the fight after all the cookie talk. Savvy business move.

Dern is just taking the UFC as seriously as they take themselves, that's all.

Criticism from UFC? I doubt that. She is a new hot prospect, they will look the other way, because they want her as champion.
