Yep, he could be bigger than Connor

Watching him in interviews, I strongly admire his speaking style, intelligence and how he can get inside the mind of his opponents.

I think he is close to being a GOAT

No. Cruz is most definitely well-spoken and intelligent, however, the numbers don't imply that he is the most charismatic. Having people nod when you speak for free is a much lesser metric than having people willfully fork over their hard-earned money.

Given the fact that he's well-spoken, a good trash-talker, a great fighter, and quite good-looking, and he's still not even remotely famous, doesn't that actually imply that he's the opposite of charismatic?

Cruz is very articulate and more charismatic than most, but let's keep it real: Conor's the UFC's P4P king of charisma, and the numbers bear that out.

The only dude who comes close is Bisping.

i think you have a deep misunderstanding of what the word charisma means...

It typically means attractive, influential, liked etc.

Cruz is likely one of the smartest guys in the ufc and an excellent commentator as well.

However, his out of the ring gift for analysis aligns well to accurately and effectively causing guys he is talking to to ragequit... I would say as long as he wins, he will be popular similar to ronda and conor but charismatic? I am a fan of his fights and commentating/analysis but he frankly comes off as a huge douche...

Cruz has very little charisma but you don't need it to be the best.

Michelle Waterson is far more charismatic than Eddie Munster. I believe she is currently in the UFC.

Cruz could be the most intelligent.

Before Conor arrived in UFC, Cruz attitude was nothing like it is today, he was respectful and most of the times maybe even boring

Now he is changing his approach, and doing lot of a very good trash and a lot of people is noticing him. But is an active effort he is doing to raise his PPV numbers, I dont think is natural charisma, most like a "worked" charisma... if that could be done.

Mighty Mouse could learn a thing or two.

If you wanna see charisma, see Lesnar, Faber, Liddell, GSP, Rampage, McGregor, Griffin, Sapp, Sakuraba, Hughes, Minowa, EARLY Ortiz, Lord Chael, Ken Shamrock and Gina Carano. Cruz doesn't hold a candle to any of those names.

How exactly can he be bigger than Conor? He's been in the game for a decade and a he's the champ he's no where close to Conor's level.

Cruz is a brilliant analyst but he doesn't have that kind of mass appeal.

I agree but i like his personality and smartass remarks. Use to hate Cruz and his fight style back in WEC but ive become interested in it seeing how long he can keep it up against new opponents.

Which implies that he's not charismatic. What charisma is is the ability to move people on an emotional level with implied and expressed communication skills.
