Dom Cruise gets a title shot with a win?

He should be given the shot if he beats Miz regardless of what happens in the Assuncao/Caraway fight. Has the UFC said anything or are they just going to wait for both fights to happen before deciding?

"For awhile, it seemed like me healing up was Mission: Impossible. I got so close, full recovery always seemed like it was just on the Edge of Tomorrow. Yes, he's vastly more popular that Assuncao and that's all that matters. If you think different after all these years of UFC buisness tactics, yous a dummy.
 
Only if Assuncao loses. If they both win. Assuncao gets shitle tot and. Cruz fights Barao.

I like that fight (cruz vs barao), and they better give it Assuncao if he wins.
 
I'm almost certain the UFC will give the title shot to Cruz if he wins against Miz even if Assuncao beats Caraway impressively. He's way more known to the casual fan and he never really lost in the first place, so marketable fight.

Assuncao will have to face someone else, maybe Eduardo or Alcantara.
 
If Cruz wins, yes he will get a title shot. Other guys like Assuncao can cry, but fact is Cruz never lost his belt and would provide the biggest fight in the division against TJ.
 
If you think at all that Assuncao gets a title shot over Cruz (if both win) you are delusional.

First, and most importantly, Cruz is a name. Assuncao isnt. Business wise thats the deal.

But second, and from a fight fan perspective, Cruz was the freaking champ and didnt lose his belt. Not sure how you you can deny him

They better give a title shot to an unremarkable fighter, who has no fan base, and whose failed in every big spot, why?

Assuncao has the rights to the title shot

But Dominick is the former champion, only injuries made him lost the title. It's hard to say who deserves it, but Dominick has it on being former champion + popularity.

Not saying they can't give it to Cruz, but regardless of fan base he has earned it recently in that division. Might as well have him get one in then if Cruz wins have him come in after.

I just think while I dont think Assuncao is amazing, I think he has earned it and if he beats Caraway he will have a 7 fight win streak, he should get a shot, even if they put Cruz first. I would like to see Cruz fight Barao as well
