He was a target of assassination on more than one occasion. I believe he was most likely poisoned and herb gave him good quality of life leading up to his passing.

The thing about cancer is, it is very different in different people. There have been some people who say it cured cancer and some studies where it may have prohibited cancer growth but you cannot say it has cured cancer. There is not enough studies on the subject.

It can be a great assistance to chemo cancer patients though. It can increase their pain tolerance and more importantly, it gives them an appetite. I am not sure if makes them hungry or they have a taste for food.

A cure for cancer though is pushing it.
