Does Tony Ferguson have the better BJJ than Khabib?

Tony's been subbing BJJ blackbelts that Khabib took to decisions in Tibau and Edson.

Obviously Khabib's grappling is supremely effective but Tony is the more dangerous finisher.
Tony started by hurting them on the feet. I don’t think Tony has ever outright submitted an opponent on the ground.

How imagine if someone tries to submit Khabib.

That's impressive, he rolls his arms and good at same time. Pure strength to do that.

Yes he does.

The best chance for Khabib to win that is to lay and pray and do just the necessary on top to avoid the stand up... not go full aggressive and get tired.

Basically Khabib needs to GSP the shit out of Tony.

Khabib is more systematic with his approach while Tony is very unpredictable. I wish we would find out who is better instead of speculating.

Here is what Tony brings to the table:
  • solid wrestling (considerable part of Kebob's leg humping will be negated)
  • superb guard (Kebob will instantly get cut by razor-sharp elbows, and is highly likely to get caught into submission)
  • solid striking with huge reach advantage (Tony's striking will flow smoothly because he, unlike Conor, wouldn't care of being taken down by Kebob)
  • outstanding cardio (as soon as Kebob needs to rest and recover, Tony will be all over him)
  • heart
Tony will break Kebob.

It was a smart move for Khabib to avoid Tony Ferguson.
If he had lost, then its a multi million dollar decision.
