I started a post last week that Donald Trump jumped the shark when he said he would kick all illegal immigrants out if elected. Now a week and a tragic attack later has Donald Trump soaring in the polls. People I knew that weren't even considering voting for him are now in his corner. Most people said Hillary was going to win but now Donald Trumps crazy stance may happen.

Why? This would play right into their mandate. Reiterating the fact that these terrorist were either already in Europe as well as Refugees would give them the examples needed to push their immigration agenda.

If anything, the GOP is missing out by have their next debate in a month.

I would say a significant portion of the US voters in a 70% christian country would like a religious test on all new refugees.

They are not pandering to you, they are pandering to their kind - who in fact, may have the voting numbers on the dems.
