Does Platinum deserve credit for a great chin because his head movement is non-existent?

    Can't remember a fighter getting hit with so many rights and lefts straight down the pipe. But at the same time he's walking right thru them.

    With a great chin comes great brain damage. Feel bad for the dude.

    Lack of Head movement and his seemingly Iron Chin is just a bad combination for all the CTE in the world, and Perry already isn't the Sharpest tool in the shed so the constant rattling his Brains been taking can't be good.

    <6>

    His Nose has been broken twice now, and his face looks like a mess, he managed to get by Mickey Gall, but he still likely gets killed by the more competent Strikers in the division that I don't see a bright future for him even with his changing in training. He's got the explosiveness to get the takedown, but almost none of the ground game to do anything with it, and on the feet he just plods forward eating shots looking for the Big shot that he doesn't have the speed or the accuracy to land.

    Not really, because if you’re anticipating shots like a terminator it’s easier to absorb head strikes

    Let's not credit Perry for being ass but a hard head. Dude is hits hard but one of the dumbest fighters in the UFC.

    He’s the only fighter I can think of that has consistently gotten worse while he should be peaking. He looked so slow

    The best he looked was against Luque

    He has no business in this game. He needs to stop for his health. I hope somebody gives him a well paid job so he can leave this game behind.

    Whenever the commentators start to talk about how tough a fighter is, you know they're getting their ass whooped

    I mean, his chin is amazing but this is a CTE inducing level fight for him, he should not continue a career like this.
    Like a previous poster said, I don't remember the last time i've seen a fighter land so many straight punches down the middle with ease.

    He should take a long break and really focus on head movement.

    His chin isnt bad. He should develop a high guard defense and just shell up because he's too stupid to learn head movement it looks like

    Tough chin credit for carrying on in face of such adversity. Would do ok in One or even Bellator.
