I didn’t know who this guy was before today, and I don’t feel like I learned anything. The version of Burns we saw would lose to anyone. Pretty sure Conor would sleep him in between lines of coke.

STOP making shit threads

You’ll NEVER be a going concern in SD.

So stop trying.

Morales is good but this was his biggest win even though it is not his hardest fight. There are probably some holes in his game. I don't know if they want him to keep fighting aging fighters or challenge him a little more.

Well he's kinda at the point now where it's only tough fights now to match him up with. I imagine he's pretty game though.

Everyone who follows the sport knew he’d smoke burns by easy KO … total mismatch

His takedown defense is questionable

His striking is great but can be low volume

He’s absolutely a top 8 and a problem for anyone… he’s huge , undefeated , and only 25

Would like to see him face a striker like prates next… they’ve been moving him along too slowly … needs a proper test - he seems more then ready for anyone at this point

Morales is still super raw and unrefined, which isn't surprising considering he's only 25, but he has insane athletism.
Burns didn't have anything for him because he's completely shot at this point, this fight was made less as an actual test than a way to make the ranking match reality.
IMO, he will probably lose soon when he faces an elite guy in his prime, but he has plenty of time to develop and the base tools to go far.

It was his first main event, and he won in dominating fashion against a popular fighter. What do you think?
