Consider the improvement we have seen from him since he lost to McGoat. It is crazy the amount of progression he has shown in such a short amount of time. will he ever get good enough to get the belt? I believe he does. If he continues to improve at this rate he will be champ in the next 5 years. What say you?
He's so good, and seems to improve really quickly from fight-to-fight... I know I'll always tune in for his fights
lol at if conor moves up.... Aldo still the champ and if he still around by the time he gets a shot it will be a good fight.
It's possible. If he takes good fights. Trains smart. Definitely possible. Will he ever beat a healthy Mcgoat? No. But Conor may choose to leave.
If Max keeps getting better. (No reason to assume he doesn't) I would actually like to see Max V Connor 2 maybe in 2016/17 I reckon it will be a barn burner.
No. Simply because he's good, but not GREAT. There are people better than him that will hold the belt instead of him.
That's the whole point, he is good now. but He is getting better at a ridiculous speed, I believe he will be great.
Max is eventually gonna have an epic rematch with Conor Mcgregor. Tough as nails, dynamic striker, confident and focused, solid all around grappling, and he hasn't even reached his peak yet. Sky's the limit for this guy.
Depends on match ups. If he puts on some more muscle I'd say he has a good shot at wowing people with an RDA type of performance. So basically he needs to juice.
I don't know man, the MMA scene can change so fast. He definitely has the skills. I could see him grabbing it briefly a la Rampage, Benson, Sherk, etc. Or if he continues to develop the sky is the limit. That's how I feel about a number of these young guys. You saw it in Jones in his first UFC fight and just as much in the "loss". Go back and watch Fedor's first Pride fight--talk about boring, wet blanket fighting styles... then he goes on a tear in is some of the greatest wars MMA has ever seen. Yeah, I could see holloway grab the belt but with all that said, its still a long shot. It's a lot easier to fail.
