If he wins against Condit, Brown will be on a 7 fight winning streak in the WW division, which is pretty incredible.

Unless GSP loses to Hendricks in which case I see an immediate rematch for GSP, I think Brown should definitely get a shot if he wins against Condit.

I don't see how he could be denied one at that point. I mean, I guess if he didn't it would be him vs. either rory/robbie for contender.

I personally feel Demian Maia should get a shot, granted he gets by Shields. Matt Brown will skyrocket into the Top 5 should he get a win over Condit, but I feel Maia is just that much closer to a title shot.

Either title shot or title eliminator most likely, so it would be a career defining win for him. I still can't believe he doesn't get more love for beating a guy that's way better than GSP in his last fight

Yes, but it won't be an easy task beating Condit.

Demian Maia should be next with a win no matter what.

Realistically he's right in line now so I would imagine a win over Condit should do it.

I hope so. It would be one of the few UFC ppvs I would buy for the year.

If Brown can pull the upset and Maia vs Shields is as boring as it sounds on paper, I'd be willing to bet they give Brown the shot.

Brown should 100% get the title shot if he beats Carlos.

Brown: Pyle, Mein, Swick, Ramos, Thompson, Cope, loss

Maia: Fitch, Story, DHK, loss (MW)

    This is a no brainer.

Condit is the second best WW, so a win over him is big. Who knows, the UFC makes whatever fight they want. Brown would definitely be the legit frontrunner if he beat's Condit. Love Brown, but it's not going to happen. Condit is better everywhere, and Brown doesn't have the wrestling to corral Condit. Glad Brown is starting to get some major attention, but Carlos is my pick.

It's a weird situation for me.

Carlos Condit is a world beater with claim to top status.

Matt Brown is a hard nosed fighter with no top 10 fights.

If by some miracle (and I do mean miracle) he beats Condit, he should fight Maia/Shields winner or Rory/Lawler winner.

Yes.. But at the same time it could be a tough sell considering he hasn't fought a top wrestler if he's going against GSP.
