Does Maia deserve an instant rematch vs. Woodley?

I feel that Woodley was getting tired in the last few rounds and if the fight was scheduled for 6 or 7 rounds, Maia would have gotten a take-down and be able to use his Brazilian jiu-jitsu skills.

No sane person would want to suffer that shit again.

He already had the rounds to do something and didn't.

Another 10 or 15 tkd attempts and he probably would have gotten one.

More rounds would have put the fence grab count at 4 or more.

Yeah on Facebook prelims at 5 am in the morning so no one suffers

Could u possibly argue maia won due to aggression? Woodley ran the whole fight and maia chased. 6 years ago he'd probably had won a Dec.

For sure. I think they can beat that lowest strike total if they get another chance.

And force us to sit through another Woodley fight... Ugh no

Maia has no business being in a title fight again. It's a waste of time. He should just to go compete in grappling instead. He won't have to bother with actually learning how to strike, or with getting punched in the eye.

Okay, you want to be a jiujitsu based champion in MMA and prove a point. It won't happen.

It could have happened this past weekend.

Maybe if one of those two fence grabs that stopped take-downs hadn't happened, we'd have a new champion.

That said, I don't ever want to see that kind of fight again.
