Yes. Silva's TDD is based solely on his reach advantage and formidable standup game every time he's faced an elite wrestler(Hendo, Sonnen, Weidman) he's been in real trouble. Machida's TDD is all technical and he knows to read the shoot really well. This makes the Davis win over him more impressive IMO because no wrestler has had that success getting him down before and Machida's faced Rashad, Bader and Jones(who took a different approach than merely trying to take Machida down).
