Does Lawler finish Brown with strikes?

I'm diggin' the new Robbie Love. Welcome aboard fellas. :icon_chee

Been a while since I've seen any "Lawler's overrated/over the hill/past his prime" posts.

Robbie was always a popular fighter on sherdog, he's basically a Wand version of America. However, I remembered him being heavily criticized for having a lack of submission defense and he's BJJ in general.

I've always felt that when Robbie was on, everything was on, including his TDD. Problem was, he was fighting above his natural weight class at 185, and he wasn't fighting scrubs, he was fighting submission specialists like Jacare and Shields.

Lawler wastes Matt Brown, - but I'm watchin'!

Maybe it was just the Strikeforce hate, but I remember a lot of people shitting on Robbie before he came back and man handled Koscheck.

I know Lawler is an absolute beast in the striking department but can he manage to be the first man to stop Matt Brown with strikes?

I dont see why not, I could see a referee stoppage if not a flat out KO.

I'll throw my vote behind Brown. Dude keeps on looking awesome.

He is definitely capable of knocking him out (same goes to anyone really), but I would never count out Matt Brown.

Are they fighting or is this a hypothetical question? If they're fighting, awesome. If we're speaking hypothetically, I think Lawler can stop almost anybody with strikes.

Could go either way with the free swingers but I'd be pulling for a Robbie win though

He has brutal knees so I predict a tko from a knee to the glass liver.

Lawler can KO anyone in the division with a well placed strike. The man has power for days.

He's got a bad case of the Tito liver. One good body kick and Matt is hunched over taking punches to the dome.
