does Jones really have the most submission wins in ufc lhw history?

To get better. Even though he's pretty damn awesome he still needs to work on everything. Complacency will make him an ex-champion.

Too be fair, it seems to me that a lot of fighters get pretty shitty when they try and become "complete." It's the old saying, jack of all trades but master of none. Stick with what you're good at, but obviously try and lessen your weaknesses. Jones seems to be one of the few who does really blend everything together well, but most of the other champs seem to be really good at 1-2 things. Junior has his boxing, Silva his striking/bjj, GSP his striking/wrestling, Henderson is wrestling/striking, Aldo striking, Cruz striking, MM striking/wrestling.

I'm not saying becoming good at everything is a bad thing; it's definitely more helpful than not. Just don't forget what got you where you are
