fact is Jones was never even in his early days as dominant as khabib. and currently hes split decisioning ex middle weights who tear every tendon and ligament in their knees in round 1.
jones is in the most diededed division in the ufc. Khabib is in the most talent stacked division.
Jones was never my friend, especially after getting busted 25 times for various prohibited chemicals.

Jones has had to beat great strikers and wrestlers at the top of his division. Khabib has not had to face anything other than guys who throw strikes. No BJJ guys. No wrestlers. Literally just strikers.

lately the LHW division looks week but it is not fair to say that Jones had an easy way up.
he is the champ for a reason , he beat lot of great fighters in their prime incl. DC and Alex.
seems like he is not fighting like he was a few years back but lets wait and see what he will do next.

It's part of being a dominant champ. GSP was fighting "weak" competition as was A. Silva. Jones is seen that way and Khabib is close to it.

never considered A. Silva as one of the greatest. just look at who he beat and compare it with Jones.
the problem with Jones is , he was beating everyone in a dominant way but his last fight was just not that good and people are claiming.

It's mostly because of DC, but I'm sure Jones would enjoy getting the same recognition and huge paydays that Khabob has been getting. Could be a bit of envy. That and Khabib's grappling is far more dominant than Jones. seriously, what was Jones trying to do on the ground against Smith? He's really looked pathetic recently.

jones resume in context aint that good ... other than beating washed fighters ( belfort, rampage, evans shogun ..), average fighters( smith , gus, teixeira, bader, saint preux ) and arguably lost twice ( once against gus and the second time against a welterweight without legs ...), Jones's ONLY relevant win is against DC, even this one is now arguable because Jones tested positive.

Yes, but its silly because it only really matters how you compete at the highest level and Bones is about 14-0 in title fights. Khabib will never do anything like that because he will retire after a couple more fights.
