He seems to mention in every interview he believes he may have better wrestling than GSP. Does anyone actually believe him?

He took Condit down 12 times in 3 rounds. But that can also be seen as Condit was able to get up a lot. GSP held him down for almost the rest of the round.

Hendricks had a hard time taking Koscheck down and even got taken down twice.
GSP seemed to take Kos down with ease and stuffed all his take down attempts.

So does anyone truely believe Hendricks has more than a punchers chance against the WW king?

His puncher's chance is enhanced because of the wrestling.

Hendricks has better traditional wrestling(for want of a better word), GSP has better wrestling for MMA. The problem Hendricks has is he swings wildly with his big punches this leaves him open for a takedown by GSP and a wrestler on his back isn't at his strongest.

His TD's are as efficient as Georges' but I don't think his all-around wrestling, BJJ and top game trumps GSP.

I'm sure that Hendricks is a better wrestler for wrestling. Same with Koscheck.

GSP is a better wrestler for MMA.

Hendricks has a fantastic wrestling pedigree, but is his actual wrestling better than that of GSP for MMA? No.

GSP is a lot better then Hendricks allround, even in wrestling.

Let's see, never fought a 5 rounder in his life, fades hard in the 3rd which turned some deserved UD wins into somewhat contested SD wins, loses his KO power after 2 rounds... and he's a kitten off his back. yeah, puncher's chance. Sorry beardman, still a fan.

Jab, jab, takedown. GSP 50-45. Hendricks is a good fighter, but I can't imagine that he would be able to outwrestle GSP in MMA. His fights with Pierce and Kos show otherwise.

He has much more complete wrestling skills than GSP, I don't believe there's any disputing that. In an MMA context though it doesn't mean he'll have an answer for George's excellent double leg.

Hendrick's takedown wrestling is good and all, but is his TDD and bottom game good enough to round out his skills? If not, he's screwed.

Hendricks is one of the better amateur wrestlers I've ever seen. But, like many stated, his MMA-style wrestling isn't as good or complete as GSP's. Maybe the wrestling will help his chances, but it could go in a similar direction like GSP/Kos II...

His TD's are as efficient as Georges' but I don't think his all-around wrestling, BJJ and top game trumps GSP.

No. GSP has maybe the best top control and guard passes in mma. Case and point, Condit kept getting up from under Hendricks.

GSP is smart enough to stay away from Henricks power shots. He will jab away to set up a takedown, get Hendricks down and then grind him out with GnP for a UD 50-45. He did it with both Fitch and Kos

Hopefully GSP wins and then if maia wins against Kos we can see GSP vs Maia
