A common theme here is that GSP had more money than he can spend. Yet, he is coming back and wants to fight Nick Diaz who is 1-2-1 in the last 5 years. He says that the first Diaz fight didn't sit well with him, as he felt he could have performed better. Though I don't disagree with him, there is another fight that I remember thinking he could have performed better in. His swan song, the Bigg Rigg fight. If what GSP is saying is true, wouldn't he want to wash that taste out of his mouth that has been there for 3 years and challenge Hendricks while the Sherdog consensus is that Post-USADA Johny is a washout? So in light of his semi bizarre callout and avoidance of all other callouts(even the one involving a TITLE shot), does GSP need money more than he needs to further cement his legacy?

Without using GOAT in your response, why is GSP the money fight to you?

I don't think he "has more money than he could ever spend" but I mean if you had the choose between fighting for a lot of money or for a shitload of money wouldn't you choose the shitload lol

Him coming back and fighting Nick is still 100 times more competitive then coming back and fighting the likes of people like Ja Deep and Maldonado. Like the others said GSP is the money fight.

Because he's always been one of the biggest stars in the UFC, his record speaks for itself, he has a huge fanbase and even those who don't like him would be curious to see how he would perform in his return.

I think gsp just wants an easier fight. He had that long layoff vs Condit and I with this one being even longer, I doubt he wants to fight an active top 5 guy.

I don't like the fight because the landscape has changed and I want to see Lawler Diaz 2. George should fight Conor if he wins or Woodley if conor loses.

He is the money fight. And I have literally not seen a single source saying GSP wanted to fight Diaz... He already beat him 50 - 45.

    What are talking about ?

No. But why bother watching scrubs like nate diaz pull in a mill when he can come back and demand more.

Everyone wants to fight the Diaz bros. They're the real money fights.
