One thing that really annoyed me to bits at the post presser was cruz taking cheap shots a faber whilst faber was nothing but humble in defeat.
He gave cruz a lot of props and was willing to bury the hatchet but cruz didn't want to have none of it. Why is cruz so mad and he accused faber of promoting his fighters because he takes a cut of their salary.

I mean I don't recall faber being a manager to his fighters and as a leader he does nothing but promote his own fighters something a lot of fighters aren't willing to do. Put their team mates ahead of them.
I love what faber does and it shows his very selfless fighter. He promoted dillashaw and got him that title shot now his promoting his boy cody. I think cruz really hurt his image a bit post fight being sour. plus aliiance MMA is no where near team alpha male in regards to talent pool. Cruz is the only one doing good.

I'm sure how the contracts work is different between camps but do you think people train people for free? Every camp makes money somehow. If Faber just takes a straight-up cut of the cut, that's extremely transparent. It also makes Faber;s best interest being the fighter makes the most money possible.

Good trashtralk tho! 10/10 American Psycho Cruz vs Faber and Salty Luke Vs Drunk Bisping was a GOAT press conference.

Drunk bisping was awesome

Cruz was a little b

Fabers had no choice than to submit and again mention he knows a guy who can beat Dom

And no he loses money on the gym. And all gym owners say that

If Faber is a manager for other fighters in his camp, so what. I don't see nothing wrong with it. I think Cruz was triggered by Faber hyping Garbarant for the next shot at the title. They don't like each other. It was a heated rivalry. It's done now. Hopefully Faber and Cruz can let it go and go about their individual businesses. I think Faber should move up and see what happens.

Gina Carano fucked him up

TAM fighters pitch in money from their fights to pay over facility expenses and coach/trainer fees. Maybe Faber coaches his fighters some, and if he does it makes sense they would pay him.

I can see why TJ jumped at the chance to train at Elevation, which was willing to pay him to train (which I would assume 99% of MMA gyms don't do).

Cruz is really starting to come across as a bitter little man, if there is one thing worse than a sore looser its a sore winner, Id love to see Chad Mendes drop to 135, take him down and tear him a new asshole which I believe he would and should as I think hes wasting his time at 145 now with 3 losses in 4 against the top 3 guys, hes in limbo as a featherweight.

Dom wasn't mad, lol. He only brought that up because Urijah kept talking about Cody.

Chad would touch Dom less than Urijah did.

is that your Scirocco R in the av?

Cruz genuinely doesn't like Faber so its probably not that easy for him to just "bury the hatchet" and I don't think he intends to ever stop taking shots at him.

Faber seems like hes a decent guy though and is doing what he needs to to keep him team whole.

Faber owns the gym Ultimate Fitness that team alpha male trains at, I'm sure the deal is probably that fighters pay a percentage of their winnings to the gym for providing coaching and facilities. I'm pretty sure this is standard in most MMA camps.

Faber didn't deny it. Cruz hit pay dirt on that comment. Too funny.

Cruz operates best when he is fueled by hate and has a chip on his shoulder.

Well, he owns the gym. I assume most fighters pay their gym for camps

I got a good chuckle when the reporter asked them about burying the hatchet:

Faber: Yeah, we can bury the hatchet, but there are other guys on my team that could still fight him.

Cruz: Fuck that guy and fuck his shitty team.

Paraphrasing, of course. :)

he had no option but to be humble, and the constantly mentioning Cody stuff was getting on my last nerve. he just got his first top win, lets wait before we rush him into title contention

Take it for what it's worth, but Front Row Brian mentioned before that Faber made TAM guys wear Torque gear to the cage pre-Reebok (he owns Torque) and TAM guys stay in apartments that he's the landlord of. Who knows if it's true. I assume that's where Dom's claims of Faber "pimping" fighters comes from.

Mendes is a lot stronger than Faber, lets see how many shots Cruz can take from him the answer being not many and I hope your not implying that Chad is slow, he has very quick and hands that put featherweights to sleep and if he gets him down which I believe he would he would hold him there like he did to McGregor and Cruz is tiny in every way compared to Conor.
