I honestly don't think it is, I think everybody is expecting him to get KO'd with one shot so much that when Bisping gets the flash knockdown everybody likes to say that they were right, I have to say I was impressed with Anderson in the last 3 rounds, I mean it's not often you see a 40 year old knock somebody nearly unconscious with a flying knee, that being said he really needs to step up his game, he needs to put faith in his chin in his next few fights because at the age of 41 it's almost certainly do or die. He also needs to actually do some work in the first 2 rounds which includes exchanging some punches of his own.

When your chin is gone you go unconscious for at least 1 second like Mendes vs. Edgar.

Bisping does have pillow fists but it didn't actually look like Silva was hurt.

It's not helped by the fact that he's off balance so much.

It's gone. He used to take Bombs from Hendo, now he gets put on his ass by Bisping.

He used to have one hell of a chin.

Chinless and win less since 7/2013. Seriously though, what I don't want to see is another legend fight far beyond when they should and tarnish an otherwise fantastic legacy. Hopefully, he will make a different decision than a lot of legends in the sport and retire. It is always tough to watch a legend hang in for too long and take more punishment than is necessary. Unfortunately, MMA has a laundry list of fighters who stayed in the game for too long.

His chin has definitely deteriorated, but I'm not sure it's shot. It's not there in the way it used to be, he used to have one of the best chins in the game. Therein lies the problem. He is so used to taking shots and brushing them off that he doesn't always care about getting hit. That's why he looks so suprised that he's getting dropped now.

He does have good headmovement and defense when he wants to, but he's lazy with it, almost nonchalant, and leaves openings. Especially the left hook is catching him off guard. He just can't do that shit anymore.

Kinda like if Conor lost his chin.

Thats why his chin has gone, you reach 40 ..hang on, you reach 40 naturally (no viagra), then everything goes south, you start to lose the elasticity in your skin, your eyes, some folks your hair goes, gets grey.
    and you lose muscle tone.
there are muscle in your jaw, and when you let people hit you because you can take it , later on its going to have a reverse effect..

I respect sliva, but i never liked him.
he clowned and tried to make other fighters looks stupid and is a fraud..

naseem hamed, did a much better job of toying with others, and was a prick and admitted it, instead of trying to be all fake humble..
    arrogant prick..

How many of you could take a flush shot from Chael or Bisping and stay on your feet?

his ability to take shots seems diminished.... but its still there... even when bisping hit him with everything he had right on the chin anderson got dropped but was still aware and defending himself at all times.

    so, diminished, yes, gone? no.

The most chinny he has looked was probably in the second Weidman fight. Sonnen and Bisping looked chinny too, but at the same time he never seemed really hurt.

I really wish we wouldve gotten that Vitor rematch back in the day though. Anderson was always rather old, so who knows if it was only the takedown threat against Chael or if Silva was already bound to get tagged.
