cormier fattened back up after he weighed in at lhw and he was almost 240lbs in the cage when he fought Jones. So Jones already whooped cormier’s ass at a hw weight.

The difference is that what DC and Jones do is intentional, and DC caused serious damage on his first try. Juiced to the tits Vitor caused a retinal detachment in Bisping because of the speed and power he generated from his enhanced body, however, the head kick (spinning back kick was Rockhold) he threw wasn't thrown with the intention of blinding Bisping. DC intentionally kept poking Stipe in the second fight after Stipe had already undergone surgery. DC was glory chasing so hard that he didn't care about the intentional damage he could've caused for Stipe in the long run, all while hiding behind the guise of "nice guy in MMA". Notice how DC never had issues with this previously, this was intentional, intentions matter.

Nah, especially when you consider DC only got his HW title because of an eye poke. I used to defend him for this, but the second fight made it undeniable. Stipe needed fucking retinal surgery after that. Not even JJ with his long history of eye pokes caused an opponent to need any sort of eye surgery.

The only valid argument I could see here is about JJ's PED use, which I'm also not a fan of.

DC poked Stipe in ALL 3 fights. Stipe needed surgery after the second fight. All I wanted was no pokes by DC in the rubber match. If DC won fair and square.. So be it. But don’t cheat for just one fucking fight.

So of course with about 1:40 left in round 1. That cheating fuck did it AGAIN. I almost lost my fucking mind. Causing an injury from a foul so bad that it required surgery wasn’t good enough for DC. He didn’t give a shit if he blinded him this time.

Every time DC poked Stipe it was on purpose. Don’t try to tell me otherwise. Fingers outstretched towards the face. Which in itself is against the rules.

It was poetic justice when Stipe got him in the last fight. An eye for an eye. And of course DC whined about it. Too bad, so sad. Live by the poke, die by the poke.

I don’t believe for one second DC would have beat Stipe without the poke.

Stipe was medically cleared to start training again at the end of January. He was slowly getting back into it. Because he wanted to make sure his eye was completely healed. He wasn’t even doing sparring, or anything that could re-injure his eye. The last UFC card before the lockdowns was only 5 weeks later.

Stipe couldn’t even legally train in his gym. It was shut down by law. If that doesn’t tell you what a dirt bag DC is. Nothing ever will. Because DC knew it. He even mocked him for it. Telling him to build his own gym. What an asshole. Not only that.. That fucking clown was all “Sign the contract. This is nonsense” on May 4. Literally ZERO UFC fights had even happened post-Covid at that time. Nevermind the fact the trilogy would have taken place before Covid shut the world down if it wasn’t for DC’s cheating.



Fighting only resumed on May 9. The tweet above was May 6.

This next quote is May 11. 2 days after fighting resumed. And DC knows what Stipe said 5 days earlier about his gym re-opening on May 29. Like Stipe said.. As soon as he was able to train properly he would. The fight happened 10 weeks later.
