Hey my little sherbrahs, 6'5 10/10 only banging sherdoggers and casuals whos opinion don't matter.

This is probably a dumb question but I feel it should be clear to everyone, does dana actually have any control at all over who gets paid what?? I know he works with every fighter and negotiates certain things but is it really up to him what fighters get paid? I know everyone shits on the ufc for not paying their fighters enough but I feel like Dana gets lumped in with this as well when it really has nothing to do with him

Maybe someone on here that knows what hes talking about can actually tell me the basics of what his job entails. Is he making final decisions as far as
    Fighter pay?
Letting fighters go from the UFC?
    Suspensions?
    Fighter performance bonuses?

I feel like he gets alot of hate for just doing his job, I am sure lots of decisions come from higher up which are supposed to make him look like a liar or an asshole but ultimately the people that shit on him would do the same thing in his situation for the $$$

Companies generally try not to pay way over market value for their talent. A leader that does isn’t really doing the job they are being paid to do.

Are you kidding??? Fucking obviously he has control over that.

Are you his son or why are you defending such a piece of shit?

Are we going to pretend now that he is somehow a victim and does not deserve the hate he gets?
By the way he talks, he acts and he looks you can immediately tell that he is a garbage as a person.

Maybe once upon a time, I don't know what he really does know. Think he is just the face of the company and basically engages in dialogue with fighters.

It's what has led to countless MMA organisations going bust, trying to compete with the UFC.

Dana prob doesn't have a say but he is the voice of it.... he has to market and defend his bosses decisions..... bc it seems funny he can pay Conor/Ronda whatever they want but have low-mid card guys fighting for $10,000 …. don't blame Dana, I think he is just the mouth and the execs make the decisions

You think Dana is sitting there with a load of spreadsheets with income and expenditure and working it all out?
The UFC pay professionals for that shit.

You think Zuckerberg sets the ad rates for facebook or Tim Cook decides how much your next iPhone is going to cost?

    Of course he does
Ari & Patrick couldn't name 50 fighters on the roster & are far too busy to deal with 550 fighters & managers

It is very typical of most businesses
WME deal with the big issues & DW deals with day to day

But if you are asking if DW can wake up one day & say "I want to give 30% to fighters instead of 13-17% of revenue" - he can't

i would assume he only deals with the upper echelon of fighters (Conor, Brock, some of the champions)

in the past he likely had dealings with most of the roster, when it wasnt so bloated and he didnt have a million other things to do

Like someone else said, maybe in the past, but now I believe cheap-ass WME is fully in control of that.
