Does Dana dislike Jones?

I think the refusal to fight Sonnen really irritated Dana. He couldn't stand Jones praising Jackson and had to butt in with a sarcastic comment.

Well Jones often speaks his mind about Dana.
Look at the interview with Ariel in his hotel room.
He says they threw him under the bus after ufc 151 and Dana's opinion doesn't really matter on who is pound for pound.

Dana is egotistical so he won't like Jones's demeanor.
 
I think its for the same reason that a lot of fans fell off which is Bones bailing on 151. As far as Jons decision to not "step up" it made it seem like somethings missing, something more that is expected from the "baddest mofo on the planet"
 
He hated Tito, Ken Shamrock, Rampage and Kimbo but signed them because he knew they where money.

But really, Jones does have an abrasive personality, and it wouldn't be a huge surprise if Jones privately acts like he owns Dana or something similar. Dana is used to being Uncle Dana, he who makes fights happen because he likes you, and Bones is 27 and untouchable, ffs, he used to have Nike backing him at 26 y.o., while Dana can still only dream about sponors like that. It's gotta be a little emasculating for a power crazed sociopath like Dana to be around Jones.

Actually, when Dana trolled him at the press conf, Jon had an awkward bullied kid look on his face for a second.

Someone clapped Jones's statement on his team,and Dana goes 'that's Greg (Jackson)', ie implying JJ has one fan. Jones's face was priceless - for a second and then he recovered.

Dana doesn't like Jon at all.
 
Dana dislikes Jones personally but loves him for business reasons.

Dana comes from boxing and is a pretty old school guys. He respects sportsmanship.

Jones is a dirty fighter and a poor sport. The sucker punch on DC? Legal but was very low class.

He isn't the UFC largest draw when he really should be. He needs to embrace the bad guy, then Dana will love him he will love DARTH JONES.
 
Ever since that UFC 151 Dana clearly doesn't like him and blames him for the cancellation which IMO wasn't Jones fault. But it was like Jones said in that interview, they are very quick to throw you under the bus. End of the Dana is all about business and doesn't care much about the fighters except on how much they can earn the company.
 
Of course DW doesn't like Jones. JJ is one of the VERY few if not only fighter that doesn't bow down to the promotion/promoter. DW disliked Jones for a LONG time now...even before he threw Jones under the bus due to event cancellation (which was NOT Jones' fault).

Also Jones talks openly and frankly about how he learned about the ufc overnight after that incident and that their interests are different. That the promotion does NOT look after his best interest so he has to.

JJ (like him or hate him), in the past couple years he has grown and learned to stand up to zuffa. He is NOT a "yes man" and he does not say "yes boss", nor is he a "I do whatever ufc wants me to do, Dana/Lorenzo is the boss" kind of guy. DW holds grudges its no news, and its obvious DW has been hating JJ guts for a while now.
