I think he would have to be.

That said I don't see it happening.

Fuck yea. Isnt that basically the definition of P4P? I dont even like Conor but being champ simultaneously at 2 weight classes is huge.

    Definitely.

Guy destroyed Aldo in 13 seconds and would have moved up in weight to take out a LW who many regard as a P4P anyway

    No.

If Conor McGregor beats RDA, BJ becomes P4P GOAT.

Yes, Jones would need to go win the HW belt to have a shot at getting back on top, but then Conor fancies a pop a Lawler and there ain't a superheavyweight so Jon is screwed.

It's tough, you'd have to say it's be between him and Jones to remain impartial...
Beating p4p, in emphatic fashion, then moving up a division 8weeks later to take that belt is incredible and 100% p4p material but his rap sheet is short and Jones has surely done enough to keep him in this convo ?
Will be interesting to see how silva comes back too.

Side stories are fun but also irrelevant - roll on 6th March !!!!

Only reason I'd vote "no" is because he's already #1

If Aldo never backed out then who would he have had to defend against ? - Mendes is the answer, so he beat Mendes then beat Aldo.
Stop picking holes, he left the FW division with one more scalp left to acquire, good business.
That's his get out of jail free if he loses to RDA, if he's fought Edger before RDA then he'd have very few doors left open to him afterwards.

You're one of those people who always backs the underdog and always picks someone else for sake of debate/argument, aren't you ?

The only way he doesn't is for another 2 weight div champ.

Can't believe people are entertaining this idea, Conor hasn't even defended a belt yet

It is Jones all day, Conor could definitely make his case for #2 though even though I don't think he should be in position to pass Mighty Mouse yet who has defended his belt 50 times

Conor has one of those styles where you can't be 100% sure he actually dominates his whole weight class if he had to fight them all, Like Jones and MM you know they are beating everyone, Conor you got guy like Frankie and even a full camp Chad out there who make you wonder

I'd still have Jones ahead of him.
