Does Chuck Liddel think he's better then what he is because he beat Tito Ortiz?

Liddel sometimes as if he was this world beater, when that's not really the case. What do you all think the reason for that is? Because he beat Tito Ortiz? A guy who couldn't do anything but wrestle a little bit?
 
I think he acts like that because he was the lhw champ and the biggest draw of his time.

He also beat Couture, Vitor, and Skinny-reem (way before the horse meat diet). Tito definitely isn't the only high-level guy he whooped.

Chuck thinks he's the greatest that ever fought at LHW... that's all there is to it... he took a lot of punishment to his dome so I give him the pass.
 
Maybe because he beat Tito twice, Randy twice, Overeem, Mezger, Vitor, Bustamante, Wanderlei, Babalu twice and more. Now piss off troll
 
He got lucky for sure. A great and exciting fighter who became a mega star before the Pride rush of other great fighters. If Rampage is in the UFC in 2005 his run never happens..

The losing streak at the end of his career was due to the fact that his chin was done not because he didn't have world beater skills.
 
He was the LHW Champ of the B leagues where LHWs like Shogun ruled the A league.

He was great, he made shit tons of money and was the UFC poster boy for a period of a few years. But he was lucky those Pride guys were not with the company. Rampage first beat him up in 2003.
 
Chuck is almost underrated, at this point.. In his prime, I only ever saw Rampage and Randy beat his ass. I've heard and even agree with some of the criticisms of his career. it doesn't make him overrated.

yea I know, rampage is a bad matchup. Chuck did beat Overeem in that same tournament and his style would have always given Wanderlei trouble

It's not like there was a truck full of guys from Pride who would have beaten Chuck
